In the summer of 2024, I whistleblew to the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU) and other organizations, raising legitimate and well-supported concerns about rule violations in the sport that breached World Athletics competition rules. The IAU validated my concerns twice—while also reaffirming at the time that I continued to hold the IAU World Records for 48Hrs and 6 Days [HERE].

I deeply care about upholding the integrity of the sport and ensuring fairness, respect, and good sportsmanship for all athletes.

In response, I faced retaliation—including false, unfounded, and damaging claims and narratives spread in the media and across social media platforms….
